Basic Cultural Knowledge
This section contains videos, text-based lessons, audio recordings, and exploration articles relating to basic traditional Hawaiian knowledge.
Every Hawaiian language speaker should be familiar with the topics presented in this section at the very least, since much of the “flavor” of deliciously spoken and written Hawaiian comes from being able to incorporate traditional knowledge, related expressions, and vocabulary into everyday conversation; furthermore, at the higher levels of poetry and oratory, this knowledge is most certainly mandatory.
Vocabulary and topical quizzes are planned around each item at some point in the future.
